I just updated to the new Parallels Beta. Now you add Windows XP applications to your Mac task bar.

An Elevator Review

Cleary New York:
A speedy elevator. During business owners the 45th floor had access to an elevator that had as it's first stop the 45th floor. Very convenient.

Cleary Hong Kong:
Pretty slow. Interestingly the door would stay open until the 'close door' button was pressed. Unlike North American elevators, the 'close door' button actually had a purpose and was connected to something.

Kim & Chang, Seoul:
Only need to get to the fourth floor, so speed is not much of a concern. The door does close without having to use the 'close door' button. A unique function of this elevator is that if you press the floor button again, it 'unselects' that floor. I surprised someone in the elevator with me, when I turned off the floor we were headed to.

Conclusion:
I like when the doors close automatically, as I would sometimes forget to press the close button. Additionally, the cancel the floor feature is neat, but it's utility is limited. The winner is, therefore, Cleary New York (especially if one is stationed on the 45th floor.)

Odd Fact About Dexter

When I get a cup of coffee I put cream and sugar in the bottom of the cup, and then fill it with coffee. I do this so I don't have to stir the coffee.

It also saves time. Assume it takes four seconds to stir coffee. If I drink two cups a coffee a day, five days a week, 48 weeks a year, for 30 years, that's 57,600 saved seconds. This is 960 minutes or 16 hours.

(Now I'll have more time to work on this blog.)

Economists & Hell

" Economists searching for reasons why some nations are richer than others have found that those with a wide belief in hell are less corrupt and more prosperous, according to a report by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.

Sejin in Brisbane

Brisbane.jpg

Mr. Moon and I went to Brisbane, Australia.
We were on a short business trip for 2 nights and 3 days.
Brisbane was a beautiful small city.

We met a lot of great people there.
We also went to Gold coast, but we weren't able to see much because it was too late at night when we arrived. :(

I definitely want to go back there one day.

Sejin in Malaysia

Sejin_in_Malaysia.jpg

I went to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for business.
Malaysia is a very interesting country. They still have royal family. And the royal family is really rich; probably richer than you may imagine.
It was unusual to see how rich they are, because I heard that there are a lot of poor illegal immigrants working in Korea in order to support their family back in Malaysia.

We went to a big mall for the rich. I found the consumer price was not cheaper than anywhere else. However, if you were not a member of the royal family, your monthly income would be at most $200. What a world!!

The buidling behind me in the picture is the twin tower, Petronas.
The two Korean construction companies, Samsung engineering & Kukdong engineering are involved in building the tower #2.
I heard that it was done super fast! I must admit that Koreans like 'fast'.
"Pali, pali!" (Hurry, hurry!):)
